ANNUAL DAY 2024

Vartak Model School celebrated Annual day on 3rd February 2024 at Mani Bhawan.The Stage and the function premises were beautifully decorated specifying the theme of the function, which resembled the name “Udaan”. Brigadier Raman Kumar SV,Chief Engineer , Patron, Vartak Model School,and Mrs GS Anitha, Hony Director, Vartak Model School were Welcomed as the Chief Guests of the Annual Day celebration of the School. Along with them, other dignitaries and committee members of the school were also present at the function. Parents of all the students were invited to the Annual function. The chief guest were welcome with a traditional Assamese gamusa by the students.The momentous occasion commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the chief Guest . After that the principal Mrs JonaliTalukdar Sharma presented the school report highlighting the achievements of the school in various domains. Over 165 students from pre-primary and primary classes participated in the cultural programme which began with a Ganesh/Saraswati/Krishna Vandana. Following that, one after the other, there were marvellous dance performances from the students, from classes Nursery to 5. After that, adding flavor to the function, there was a group song performed by the teachers. As the function came to an end, there was a patriotic dance performance. It was simply amazing, and all the pieces of efforts taken by the students paid off, resulting in loud applause from everyone on the premises. Mrs G S Anitha, Hony Director ,distributed prizes to the performer and Brig Raman Kumar SV,Patron distribute prizes to Maximum attendance,the best performers and also to the Best House of the year and BestHouse in Sports trophy to the students along with teachers.Both the trophy were won by Red Roses. He also praised the school for its dedicated service to education and the efforts made by our school in preparing the students for the annual day function in very short span.After this, the co ordinator Mrs Mridusmita Borah thanked all the Chief Guests, management committee and other dignitariesfor giving their valuable time for the School function.She also addressed all the students and their parents, congratulating each and everyone from the school, for every effort taken to make this function successful. The function closed with the singing of the National Anthem. The celebration ended after a high tea and refreshment were served to the students and parents.
