REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2024

On the auspicious morning of 26th January 2024, Vartak Model School celebrated 75th Republic Day in the school premises. It was the matter of great pride for all of us. On this day the school was decorated with flag and balloons. The Principal, teachers and the students didn’t want to leave any stone unturned in making this monumental day a memorable one. Brig Raman Kumar SV, CE, Patron and Mrs G. S Anitha, Hony director were the chief guests. Other members of the management committee of the school were also invited for the celebration. They were warmly welcomed by the Principal along with students with a bouquet of flowers. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolour flag by Brig Raman Kumar sir. Flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland. A Hindi speech on the significance of Republic Day was delivered by a student of class – V. Students from Class - IV and Class - V sang a patriotic song. A beautiful dance program was also performed by some of the students from class I to V. The Principal Mrs Jonali Talukdar Sarmah gave vote of thanks to the chief guests, committee members, teachers, students and non teaching staff. After the ceremony, chief guest distributed sweets and biscuits among the students .Refreshments were also arranged for the chief guests, committee members and teachers.
