SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION 2023

Vartak Model School hosted the much awaited Annual Sports day from 28th November to 1st of December,on the sprawling grounds of the school. Days were filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere. The Annual Sport days was held for Nursery to class V. The event began with the juniors of Nursery ,LKG and U K G participating in a great amalgamation of track and field events and some interesting yet fun races. They tested their strength in various events such as candy race, lifting bottle, pyramid race, balloon blast, bag packing and spoon with marble race. Next, was the turn of the seniors from grades Ito V. The sports were balance race, dress up relay race,match the pair race, balloon cup sticking race, ball with ring race, long jump and sponge relay race. On 2nd December there was the prize distribution ceremony. The chief guest Brig. Raman Kumar SV, CE (P) Vartak, Patron, Vartak Model School, Mrs. G S Anitha, wife of the CE, Hony Director, Vartak Model School, Col. Pankaj Sharma, Director, (EME),Chairman, Vartak Model School, and his wife Mrs. Sujata Sharma, Mr. A P Shahi, EE (Civ), Secretary, Vartak Model School and his wife Mrs. Sonal Shahi, and two of the Nominated parents of Vartak Model School, Mr. Narendra Kumar and Mr Sanjav Kumar. The Hony Director and Patron rewarded the winners with medals and certificates and congratulated them for their victory.The celebration closed with the vote of thanks by the principal Mrs. Jonali Talukdar Sarmah. The celebration ended after a high tea . Biscuits, chocolates and juice were also distributed to all the students. The event continuously laid the emphasis of sports in a child’s life and physical and mental development. It was a day filled with sportsmanship, enthusiasm and memories to cherish.
