CHILDREN'S DAY CELEBRATION 2023

We all share the desire for the wellbeing of our children, which has always been and will continue to be the most universally cherished aspiration of humankind." A day marking childhood. Children’s Day celebrations focus on children and their enjoyment. The day is celebrated to pay tribute to the legendary freedom fighter and our first Prime minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru popularly known as Chacha. Vartak Model School also celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2023. The school always strives to emerge out with something new for its student and children’s day being a day specially for them. The Principal Mrs. Jonali Talukdar Sarmah along with the teachers decorated the entrance area with smilies and the stage with a beautiful banner. The principal and the teachers gave all the students a warm welcome with a toffee. The program started with fancy dress competition of the tiny tots. The medium could not limit the creativity of the parents who dressed children with boundless imagination. They were dressed as Ice cream, Chandrayan 3, Drop of blood, etc. Children also participated with a lot of enthusiasm and displayed their confidence while speaking. Their innocent words and stage performance won the hearts of teachers. A Folk Dance Competition was also held for the primary section. The floor was on fire with their energetic performances and this was a reflection of their passion and hard work. The choreography, rhythm, synchronization and presentation of all the students were very good. The principal announce the name of the winners and gave them prizes. Chocopie and gifts (Insta kit & Tempera colour) were also distributed to all the students. A mesmerizing song was performed by the principal and teachers to mark the love for the students. The students cheered their teachers as they saw them on the stage. The campus was buzzing with excitement and joy. The programme ended with a speech by the Principal. The entire programme was applauded by everybody present and will always remain attached in the memory of one and all.
