DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION 2023

Dussehra is also known as Vijayadashami in some regions of India. If we set aside the regional differences, the main events of this festival have one motto i.e. the victory of good over evil. According to Hindu mythology, it says that on this day Goddess Durga removed the demon called Mahishasura from the earth. Similarly, other traditions believe that Lord Rama fought and eliminated the Demon King Ravana on this very day. Echoing this festive spirit, Vartak Model School celebrated Dussehra with much zeal and zest on 18thOctober 2023. There was a speech give by one of the student of class 4. There was two musical skit performed by the students. One is on how Goddess Durga removed the demon Mahishasura and other is on how Lord Rama fought and eliminated the Demon King Ravana. Students were very excited watching those skits. Principal Mrs. Jonali Talukdar Sharma wished everyone a bright and safe Dussehra and pleaded to keep safety and clean environment as their main concern while celebrating various festivals.
