WORKSHOP FOR EDUCATORS BASED ON NEP 2020 & NCF 2022 AT GUWAHATI 2023
Educational conference helps us to develop and Polish our communication skills which also builds our confidence as a researcher.Academic conferences are a great platform for a productive exchange of ideas and develop key life skills such as communication, leadership, problem solving and decision making. Vartak model school teachers attended an educational conference on August 26 2023 at Hotel ParnilPalace,Zoo Road,Guwahati (Assam) under the supervision of the Principal Mrs Jonali talukdar Sharma.The conference is on the benefits of gearing up to be an NEP powered school. Our chairperson, Mrs GS Anita Raman was an invited speaker on the conference. Many speakers are invited to the conference from different corners of the State and outside the state too. Few important topics of the conferenceare as follows :- • Learning is fun, engaging and results in real world application . • Simplification of the existing contents, which is heavy on text, to making classroom lessons more interactive. • Newer areas like coding, Financial literacy and artificial intelligence as a part of the curriculum. • The pandemic and prolonged school closure has made NEP Implementation even more difficult for schools, which are currently struggling to provide continued learning to students. So how do we restart ? • Post covid Shift gears from crisis Management mode towards Future building mode. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to educators for revisiting important educational concept aligned to NEP 2020 and NCF 2022 . It provides deconstruct and repurpose theories for practice. The keynote speakers share their insights on the challenges and opportunities facing education today. The breakout sessions offered practical advice on how to improve teaching and learning. The conference participants were inspired by the shared commitment for making a difference in the lives of students. Overall the national educational conference was a valuable experience for all who attended. The conference provided a forum for educators to learn share and collaborate on ways to improve the quality of education for all students.
