TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION 2023

“It is the supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge” To commemorate the birth of the second President of India Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was the philosopher and a great teacher, 5th September every year is celebrated as Teacher’s Day. His contribution towards Indian education is undeniable. The teacher’s day was organised with incredible gusto and zeal at Vartak Model School. The Principal Mrs Jonali Talukdar Sarmah, Coordinator Mrs Mridusmita Borah along with class 5 students gave a warm welcome at the school gate with a tub of lucky bamboo, diyas and flowers. The selfie point and the tastefully decorated ‘Entrance’ was pleasant surprise for all the teachers. Teachers play a major role in making their students responsible citizen of tomorrow and a good human being. Hence to express their gratitude, student of class 4 gave a speech. All the students planned many spectacles for the day and showcased many scintillating dance performances, on some peppy numbers which highlighted the heart warming relationship between a teacher and a student. Students of class 5 act as their role model teacher which filled the whole environment in laughter. To appreciate the hard work of all the participants a pencil was presented by the principal. Fun filled games for teachers were planned at the school ground which reminded the teachers of their school days and made them fill nostalgic. The day concluded by honouring the teachers for their valuable contributions to the school, they were felicitated by gifts from the Patron of Vartak Model School, Brigadier Raman Kumar SV Sir, CE(P) Vartak. The Principal congratulated the teachers and acknowledge the sincere efforts of every teacher for painstaking effort they selflessly put in everyday. A lunch party was also organised for the teachers. All the teachers uploaded overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm for making such a glorious event to cherish forever.
