GREEN COLOUR DAY 2023

Green is the most common colour in the natural world, think of nature and see green in all its glory expressing renewal and life. Green is said to have healing power and is understood to be the most relaxing and restful colour for human eyes. Green colour is associated with growth, safety and nature. It is one of the secondary colours. In order to emphasize the importance of green colour, Vartak Model School conducted Green colour day for the Pre-primary children on 7th July 2023 under the supervision of the Principal Mrs Jonali Talukdar Sarmah. All the students came dressed in different shades of green, they also carried some green colour handmade craft like birds, trees, etc. Teachers also joined the celebration by wearing green colour dress. To provide sensory experience to the little ones for exploring this colour, few activities was also conducted likePaper cutting in Class Nursery, Paper crumpling inClass LKG and Paper plate pasting in Class UKG in which students took part with great enthusiasm.A selfie corner was also there where students posed for photographs.A special assembly based on green colour day was held with rhyme dramatization and introduction of green objects like cucumber, lady finger, guava ,etc. Celebration of green colour day provided an opportunity to the little ones a practical learning experience and made their day more enjoyable.
