REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION 2023

India won her freedom on the 15th of August 1947and become a Republic on the 25th of January1950. The new constitution of free India came into force with effect from this day. It is a day of national rejoicing and a red letter day in our country. The day is celebrated with pomp and show, zeal and spirit, throughout the length and breadth of the country. A Craft Making Competition using tricolour for class I to class V and an activity on National Symbol (Peacock) Making for Class Nursery, LKG and UKG were also organized in Vartak Model School on 24th January 2023 to celebrate Republic Day. The day was celebrated in the school with great éclat on 26th January 2023. The program began at 8:30 am. The worthy Principal Mrs Jonali Talukdar Sarmah unfurled the national flag amidst loud cheers. All the students, teachers, and the non- teaching staff salute the ‘National Flag’ and sang the National Anthem. Students from Class - I to Class - V sang a patriotic song. A Hindi speech on the significance of Republic Day was delivered by a student of class - V, Sri Lichchhavi Pratap Singh. Teachers, Mrs Meenakshi Borah, Mrs Harsha Mishra, Mrs Sushma Singh, Mrs Anjali Hazarika, and Miss Barsha Kalita spoke on 'Shiksha Sambaad' . The topics were :- * India incredible, travel and explore * Little thing matter, observe exam discipline. * Technology is a great teacher, embrace it. * As one journey ends, another begins. * Be your own anchor, celebrate your strength, etc. The principal also gave a motivational speech to the students. In the end, the program was concluded by distributing sweets to all the students.
