SARASWATI PUJA CELEBRATION 2023

Saraswati Puja was organized in Vartak Model School on the occasion of Basant Panchami. The festival Vasant Panchami shows the Indian culture and tradition. From several years, we have been celebrating Saraswati Puja on this day. On 26th January 2023,Puja was started in the morning at 9:30 a.m. Devi Saraswati is the goddess of intelligence, knowledge, education, harmony, art and speech. Thus we worship Saraswati Devi earlier initiating any good work. Principal, teachers as well as students coordinate and made all the arrangements for the puja. The fragrance offlowers, the aroma of burning camphor filled the atmosphere with spirituality and fidelity. The Puja was inaugurated by the Principal Mrs. Jonali Talukdar Sarmah by lightning diyas in front of Goddess Saraswati idol. All the rituals were performed with great fervour. A hawan of Goddess Saraswati was also arranged in the school. After the puja Prasad and khichri was distributed to the students. This Celebration left an indelible impression in the minds and hearts of all those who participated in this program.
