ANNUAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION 2022

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION 2022 : On 19th December, 2022, Vartak Model School organised Annual Sports Day. All the students and teachers were very energetic that day; enthusiasm could be easily seen in their eyes. The event took place in the spacious playground of the school. Our chief guests Brig. Raman Kumar SV, Chief Engineer, Project Vartak, Petron, Vartak Model School & Mrs G S Anitha, Chairperson, Vartak Model School arrived at 10:30 am and inaugurated our sports program by lighting the lamp. Cornell A.K Bhandari, OC Troops, Consultant, Vartak Model School was also present in the event. A large sitting arena was arranged for the parents and students to sit and enjoy the day. Along with this, the stage was also decorated in which chief guests, consultant and principal were sitting. Students of various classes participated in the sports events. The Sports Day started with the march past of the four different houses. After the march past, a welcome dance was performed by the students from class UKG to class V. A motivational speech was delivered by the Patron of the Vartak Model School, Brig. Raman Kumar SV,CE(P) Vartak, in which he advised everyone to participate in the field of sports and also told many benefits of doing sports activities . After that the students of the four different houses competed against each other in sports events like relay race, 100 metres race, cock fight, candy race, bag packing race, thread with needle race, marble and spoon race, etc. A teachers walking race was also organised. The chief guests and parents cheered the children and teachers. After all the games were over, there was a prize distribution ceremony in which all the winners were given medals and prizes at the hands of the Chairperson of the school, Mrs G S Anitha. In the end, the Principal thanked everyone for their presence and support, and congratulated the students for their exceptional performances. The event was concluded by singing the National Anthem. The school had made arrangements for refreshments for Chief guests and also for both parents and students.
