Independence Day

Independence Day Celebration 2022 Like every year, this year also Vartak Model School Celebrated Independence Day on 15th August 2022 with great joy and enthusiasm. The program started at 10:00 am with the welcome of our honourable chief guests respected SE (civil) G P Singh sir, Director, HQ Project Vartak, respected Mrs Seema Singh Ma’am, respected Col. A.K. Bhandari sir, Consultant, Vartak Model School and respected Maj (Dr.) Ayush Sharma sir, Secretary, Vartak Model School. Parents were also invited to the celebration. Our chief guest respected SE (civil) G P Singh sir hoisted the flag at 10:00 am. We all sang our national anthem “Jana Gana Mana” with great pride and patriotism. After the national anthem ended, we welcomed our chief guests with a tricolour badge and Assamese traditional gamusa. After that, a speech on Independence Day, two patriotic group dances followed by a patriotic group song were presented by the students from LKG to Class 5. After the stage performances, our chief guest gave a brief speech on how our students are the future of our nation and should be responsible for their behaviour and what they do to make our country proud. In the end offg. Principal Mrs Jonali Talukdar Sarmah delivered vote of thanks. After the ceremony, refreshments were arranged for the chief guests and teachers. Sweet (gulab jamun) were distributed among the students, parents and non-teaching staff of Vartak Model School which was provided by our Patron Brig Harish Kumar sir, HQ Project Vartak. Few competitions and activities were also organised before 15th August to celebrate 75th Independence Day.
