BOHAG BIHU CELEBRATION 2026

Vartak Model School embraced the vibrant spirit of Rongali Bihu on April 13, 2026, with a lively pre-festival celebration. The event brought together the Principal, students, teachers, and staff in a joyous display of Assamese culture and tradition. Held at the school assembly area, the programme featured a range of cultural activities reflecting the rich heritage of Assam’s most cherished festival. The celebration commenced with a Welcome Address that set a festive and inclusive tone for the gathering. Highlighting the event was a Solo Bihu Dance Competition, which saw enthusiastic participation from students across Class Nursery to Class V. The young performers captivated the audience, beautifully capturing the essence of the season and the rhythmic legacy of Assamese musical heritage. The celebration reached its peak with an Open Dance session. In the true spirit of Bihu, students and teachers joined together on the floor, embodying the communal harmony and shared joy that defines the "Festival of Happiness.
