77TH REPUBLICDAY CELEBRATION, 2026
“Our nation is the greatest in the world, but let us strive to make it even better.” The Republic Day celebrations kindle a feeling of patriotism and brotherhood, filling hearts with national pride. Vartak Model School celebrated the 77th Republic Day with great pride and honor. On this day, the school was decorated with tricolor butterflies and balloons. The Principal, teachers, and students left no stone unturned in making this monumental day a memorable one. Brigadier Sanjeet Singh, Chief Engineer, Headquarters, Project Vartak, and Patron of Vartak Model School, graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest. Other members of the school management committee were also invited. They were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Coordinator, and teachers with bouquets of flowers and tricolor badges. Parents were also invited to join the celebration. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag by the Chief Guest, Brig. Sanjeet Singh. The flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland. CULTURAL HIGHLIGHTS A vibrant cultural program was organized on the school premises: Speeches: A Hindi speech on the significance of Republic Day was delivered by a student of Class V. Music: Students from Classes II to V performed a moving patriotic song. Dance: Pre-primary students presented a dance program and sang a patriotic song, followed by a beautiful dance performance by students from Classes I to V. AWARDS AND ADDRESS A prize distribution ceremony was included for the winners of the Intra-Sports Day Celebration, which had been held on January 22nd. The Chief Guest distributed medals and certificates to the winners and later addressed the assembly, urging students to do their best and to take pride in being Indian. The Principal, Mrs. Jonali Talukdar Sarmah, delivered the vote of thanks to the Chief Guest, committee members, teachers, students, and non-teaching staff. To conclude the event, the Chief Guest distributed sweets among the students, and refreshments were served to the guests and staff.
