INTRA-SCHOOL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATION On 22nd January 2026, Vartak Model School celebrated its Intra-School Sports Day with great enthusiasm and excitement. The school grounds were beautifully decorated for the occasion, setting the stage for an event dedicated to promoting physical fitness and sportsmanship among students. OPENING CEREMONY : The day commenced with an impressive march past by all houses, showcasing discipline and school spirit. JUNIOR WING EVENTS : The competitive events began with the junior students from Nursery, LKG, and UKG. They participated in a wonderful amalgamation of track and field events alongside creative, fun races. These young athletes tested their coordination and strength in various activities, including: • Toffee Race and Pyramid Race • Lifting Water Bottles • Monkey Race and Bag Packing • Book Balancing SENIOR WING EVENTS : Following the juniors, students from Grades I to V took to the field. The senior events were designed to be both challenging and entertaining, featuring: • 100-meter Dash and Sack Race • Dressing-up Race and Stringing Beads • Balloon and Cup Challenge • Thread-and-Needle Race and Skipping Race CONCLUSION : The event was a resounding success, fostering a deep sense of unity and healthy competition among the students. It was a memorable day that left both the faculty and the students eagerly anticipating next year's celebration.
