COMMUNITY LUNCH ACTIVITY 2025

On 24th December 2024, Vartak Model School organized a Community Lunch for students of Classes I to V to promote healthy eating habits. During the event, children shared their meals with one another and took the initiative to offer food to their teachers as well. The students thoroughly enjoyed the experience of eating together in a communal setting. Through this activity, students learned to appreciate their food, practice portion control to reduce waste, and develop essential social skills. There was a strong emphasis on the importance of nutritious and balanced meals. The event was a resounding success, achieving its goals of building a sense of community and fostering unity among the children. The Community Lunch program at VMS fosters: • Social Integration: Strengthening bonds among students. • Equality & Inclusiveness: Promoting unity regardless of economic or social status. • Health Awareness: Encouraging nutritious eating habits. • Responsibility: Developing discipline through self-service and cleaning up.
