PARENT ORIENTATION PROGRAM 2025

Report on the Parent Orientation Program Motto: "You are loved, you are important, you care.” On October 18, 2025, a Parent Orientation Programme was successfully conducted for the parents of the Pre-Primary and Primary sections of Vartak Model School. Key Program Highlights The ceremony began with Principal Mrs. Jonali Talukdar Sarmah welcoming the chief guest with a bouquet. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of: • Mrs. Nishi Gill, Honorary Director, Vartak Model School • Col G.S. Mallan, Director, EME, HQ, CE(P) Vartak, and Chairman, Vartak Model School • Mr. A. P. Shahi, EE (Civ), HQ (P) Vartak, and Secretary, Vartak Model School • Mrs. Nandini Dhand The program formally commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the chief guest. It served as a valuable opportunity for parents to learn about the school's activities and to strengthen their bond with the teachers, reinforcing the idea that the school is a “home away from home” for their children. The principal delivered the welcome speech, followed by the presentation led by Coordinator Mrs. Mridusmita Borah. She guided parents through the curriculum details and emphasized the importance of nurturing children not only through academics but also by maintaining a healthy environment at home. She also provided an overview of the National Education Policy (NEP). Demonstrations and Guidance The program featured several subject-based and skill-building activities presented by the teachers: Pre-Primary Section: Teachers Ms. Babli and Ms. Anjali displayed few of the class activities. Subject-based activities were presented by Ms. Jessy, Ms. Shyamoli, and Ms. Rupa. ECCE Skill Development (Classes I to V): • English : Ms. Kiran and Ms. Volga • Maths : Ms. Mridusmita and Ms. Durga • EVS : Ms. Babika and Ms. Chitrani • Hindi : Ms. Minakshi and Ms. Sushma • The 'Jadu ka Pitara' segment was presented by Ms. Rimjhim and Ms. Khusbu. • Ms. Rimjhim also demonstrated a Yoga session. Following the activities, Ms. Babika provided parents with guidance on the school's co-curricular activities and school life, while Ms. Minakshi briefed them on school discipline. Important tips on health and hygiene for children were also shared. The session concluded with the introduction of all the teachers to the parents. Many parents stated their delight in enrolling their child, observing that Vartak Model School is one of the best schools in the community. The day ended on a happy and satisfied note, centered on the aim of helping the children grow into happy, skillful, and creative personalities. The session concluded with refreshments for the parents.
