CONDOLENCE PROGRAM TO PAY TRIBUTE TO THE LATE HEARTTHROB OF ASSAM, ZUBEEN GARG

Vartak Model School organized a condolence program on September 24, 2025, to pay tribute to the late heartthrob of Assam, Zubeen Garg. He tragically lost his life on September 19 in an accident while scuba diving in Singapore. Life is a cycle that begins with birth and ends with death. This difficult truth causes immense pain, and we must all bear the sorrow of the irreparable loss that death creates. Zubeen Garg was a versatile talent: not just a singer, but also a writer, actor, social activist, music director, filmmaker, and a compassionate human being. He sang in 40 different languages and recorded more than 38,000 songs in his lifetime. He was a masterful musician and instrumentalist who could play 12 musical instruments. The sudden demise of Zubeen Garg—a towering luminary in the nation's musical sphere and the heartbeat of the youth—has plunged everyone into profound grief. His untimely and unbelievable passing is a moment of overwhelming emotion for our national life, truly feeling like a "Sunset at Noon." May the Supreme Lord grant eternal peace to the departed soul of Zubeen Garg; this is our solemn prayer. The Principal, Coordinator, teachers, staff, and students all gathered to light a diya (lamp) and sing his famous song, "Mayabini," to pay their heartfelt tribute to the legendary singer, Late Zubeen Garg.
