BEST OUT OF WASTE COMPETITION (PRIMARY) & TRICOLOUR ACTIVITY ( PRE-PRIMARY) TO CELEBRATE 79TH INDEPENDENCE DAY 2025
To celebrate Independence Day, Vartak Model School organized several activities for the pre-primary section and competitions for the primary section on August 12, 2025. Pre-Primary Activities: A national flag-making activity was held for Nursery students to celebrate Independence Day and foster patriotism. The children created their own Indian flags, learning about the colors and the Ashoka Chakra. Paper crumpling (Tricolor) and paper pasting (Tricolor) activities were also organized for LKG and UKG students, respectively. Both activities helped develop their fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination. Primary Competition: A "Best Out of Waste" competition on the theme of "Tricolor" was held for students in grades 1 to 5. This competition aimed to promote creativity and environmental awareness. Students were encouraged to transform discarded materials like plastic bottles, newspapers, and cardboard into innovative and useful items. Their projects highlighted the importance of reducing, recycling, and reusing materials, aligning with the school's commitment to sustainability. All the students participated with great enthusiasm, and it was a pleasure to watch them immersed in patriotic fervor while celebrating Independence Day.
