VAN MAHOTSAV CELEBRATION, 2025-26

"Think green & live green. Save the trees, save the earth, we are the guardians of nature’s birth." Van Mahotsav, the annual tree-planting festival, is celebrated across India in the first week of July, with millions of trees being planted. Vartak Model School enthusiastically observed Van Mahotsav from July 1st to July 5th, 2025. The event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of trees and promote environmental conservation among students. Various engaging activities were organized to involve students actively in the celebration. These included Thumb Painting for Nursery, Hand Print Tree Making for LKG, Real Leaf Pasting and Printing for UKG, and Germination of Seeds for the Primary section. Additionally, sapling plantations were organized for both Pre-primary and Primary classes. Teacher Mrs. Kiran Roy delivered an insightful speech on the importance of trees and the detrimental impact of deforestation. The Van Mahotsav celebration at Vartak Model School was a resounding success, effectively raising awareness about the importance of trees and fostering environmental consciousness among students.
